Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, an American-Canadian singer and songwriter. Her albums span over 20 years. Her music is classified as folk music and alternative rock although it includes influences from punk hip hop, hip-hop and jazz. Ani DiFranco was the very first artist to launch her own label in 1990. Ani is widely considered as one of the feminist icons. DiFranco born on 23 September 1970 in the city of Buffalo, New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who came across Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father is Italian descent and her mother comes from Montreal. Ani DiFranco wrote and sang 32 Flavors. The song debuted as the fifth single from DiFranco's 1995 studio album Not a Pretty Girl. Another version of the song can be heard on the soundtrack for the 1999 Canadian romantic film Better Than Chocolate. In 2013, DiFranco apologized after it was announced that she planned to host a three-day workshop at an old Louisiana plantation for slaves. However, many (including this report) did not show any remorse. DiFranco apologized a couple of days afterward. Her name is associated with her Little Folksinger music, but she's performed with many musicians as well as genres ranging that range from Pete Seeger to Chuck D. She is from New Orleans. Ani diFranco, and Kristen Ford are together. Her first songs were written at the age of 14. The songs were played in bars and coffee shops throughout her teens. DiFranco was a graduate of The Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts high school at 16 and started attending classes in Buffalo State College. The baritone Ani purchased was a custom Alvarez built by Chrys Johnston, who at the time worked as an Alvarez Artist Representative. The System 600 preamp is on the instrument. She achieved musical hero popularity with critics and fans aged 25 in Not A Pretty Girl, 1995. Dilate was even more than popular in the year 1996. The song, a pop rock hit from 1972 (You're a pretty girl) was written by American group Looking Glass for their debut album Looking Glass.
