Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in America for the past 40 years. Most famously, she is known for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in during her stage debut. Then she appeared in several Broadway productions before she became the most famous on stage with Li'l Abner in 1957. Within the same calendar year she debuted her debut musical album, This is Tina Time. Her debut appearance into Hollywood was when she played Griselda in God's Little Acre, a 1958 drama. The film was met with wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. While in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her friendship to Lee Strasberg. The actress joined CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work with ease between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber characters as against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in recent years, she has made a name as a director on several famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Her birth date was 28 August 1965, in Essex. When she was 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived throughout her early years. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision for the role of lead.
