Ina-Garten

Ina Garten has been a popular American cook book author for many years. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa and began its run in 2002. Ina began her career working for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget as well as policy documents. Though she found the career interesting initially, she eventually lost her interest in it and purchased a small specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. It took her 18 years to make the shop extremely popular before letting it go before acquiring a pen to begin writing her first cookbook. The cookbooks were followed by many more and magazine columns that came later. Her Food Network television program also debuted and quickly became popular. In addition, she offers products ranging from food ingredients to storage containers and other equipment. Ina, who is self-taught, has never studied at the culinary institute or at the hotel. Her relaxed approach to entertaining as well as her simple culinary style is widely known. She is well-known for her quick and easy recipes, such as Skillet Roasted Lemon Chicken Macaroni and Cheese using Beef Bourguignon as well as the Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
