Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has received numerous awards for her works. She is a proponent of the rights of animals. Her films comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). New York was her home and she was raised in a creative environment. She started as a photographic assistant before moving on to acting and modeling. She was noticed in her two first films and received Golden Globe Award for Most Promising newcomer. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained the world to her in addition to being an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. With just three releases MacGraw was named the top female debut at the box office worldwide. Her footprints from 1972 and autograph were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other films she has appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as and the television miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography by her, was published. MacGraw's been married three different occasions.
